The greatest story that can ever be told is that of evolution of life. As Earth cooled and life was created from single celled creatures to complex forms, this epic has more drama than any other.

Being a science student till high school, the evolution has fascinated me and within it the growth of the human species.

My artworks are a representation of definitive forms arising out of the liquid ocean of possibilities. Multi-layered images arise in which the fragility and instability of our seemingly certain reality is questioned. The story of beings, their growth and destruction finds the substrate in the fluid impressions of ink.

Are the images a reality or imagination? Are these from my subconscious collective human memory or signs from a distant future? I do not know. All I know is that the flow of the ink on the paper compels me to coax a familiar form from it. By contesting the division between the realms of memory and of experience, I make works that deal with the documentation of events and the question of how they can be presented.

Does the story remain as told in these works or more will more episodes show up in between? That is a mystery to me too.
